HELP
Searches every page of this guide and the glossary as you type.
Not sure what a word means? The plain-English glossary explains the words you'll meet in the admin.
How this guide works
The guide explains what everything is and where to find it, in plain English. It's split into short pages, mostly one for each screen of the admin, so you can go straight to the one you need:
- From any screen in the admin, press HELP at the top and the page about that screen opens.
- From the contents below, pick a page. Most start with a grey box saying where in the admin it is.
- At the bottom of every page, Previous and Next take you through the guide in order, and Open … in the admin takes you to the screen it describes.
- Pictures and diagrams show what you'll see. Where a picture hasn't been added yet, a box says what it will show.
- Printing — any page prints cleanly on its own, without the admin's menus.
You can't break the public website from in here. Dancers only see an event while Published is ticked on it. It's ticked when you add an event, so untick it to keep one as a draft while you finish it (a duplicated event starts unticked). Take your time and click about.
