What a 1-to-1 guest sees

From the organiser's Help guide. This is the page an organiser reads inside their own admin, exactly as they see it. On the demo you can read it but not open the admin behind it.

This page describes what your guests go through when they book a 1-to-1, so you can answer their questions. It only appears once you've switched on 1-to-1 bookings and set up a booking page.

What a guest does to book a 1-to-1, from your website's menu to the reminder. 1. Book a 1-to-1 From the link in your website's menu. (With several diaries, they pick one.) 2. Booking a session

  1. They choose Book a 1-to-1 in your website's menu. If you have more than one booking page (a partnership, say), they first pick whose diary.
  2. They see your intro and each session on offer, with its length, place and price (or Free), and press Pick a time. With only one session type, they go straight to the next step.
  3. Pick a day: a month calendar where only days with a free time can be pressed. The arrows move between months, as far ahead as your diary opens. Times are shown in your timezone, which is named above the calendar.
  4. Pick a time: the free start times that day. Your events (with prep and travel), blocked time, busy times in your calendar and other bookings are never offered, and nothing closer to now than your notice period.
  5. Your details: name, email, and optionally a phone number and a note for you. Change takes them back to pick another time.
  6. The button says what happens next:
    • Continue to payment (£…): Stripe's secure card page. The time is held for them for 30 minutes; if they don't pay in that time it's freed for someone else, and their link says it lapsed, with a button to book again.
    • Send request: for a free session that needs your approval.
    • Book this time: a free session, booked straight away.

If someone else takes the same time a moment earlier, they're told that time has just gone and pick another.

After booking

Moving or cancelling

The private link in their email opens their session. Up to your notice period before it (a day, to start with) they can:

Closer to the time than your notice period, the buttons are gone and they're asked to contact you, with your email and phone number shown.

Common question: “I can't find a time that suits.” Only times that are free for the whole session, plus your gaps before and after, are shown. Check your weekly hours and dates that differ, and whether your calendar shows you busy then.
